The quintet was put together for the Mainstem CD “NIGHT LIGHTS” to feature the music of Gerry Mulligan. The band features the classic Mulligan compositions “Line For Lyons”, “Walkin’ Shoes”, “Swinghouse”, “Night Lights” and many others all with new arrangements especially written by Steve Waterman for this Quintet.

This trio was put together for the Mainstem CD “BUDDY BOLDEN BLEW IT” to feature the history of Jazz Trumpet told through the compositions written by great Jazz Trumpet players with all new arrangements especially written by Steve Waterman.
Compositions include “West End Blues” by Louis Armstrong, “In A Mist” by Bix Beiderbecke, “Little Sunflower” by Freddie Hubbard, “All Blues” by Miles Davis and many more.

This quintet was put together as a tonal contrast to the trio for the “BUDDY BOLDEN BLEW IT” CD. The band plays new Steve Waterman arrangements of classic tunes written by Jazz Trumpet players. Compositions featured include : “Be Bop” by Dizzy Gillespie, “Little Jazz” by Roy Eldridge, “Haig & Haig by Clark Terry, “Freeway” by Chet Baker, “Gigolo” by Kenny Wheeler and many others.
